The Henghe Jie Residences are located on a prime riverside location in Ningbo city. The four buildings are arranged on a loose pattern, like floating blocks drifted by the river current. Each block contain one single apartment on every floor, enjoying views on all sides.
The apartments layout is arranged by some solid stone boxes with vertical openings that are the main structure of the buildings. In between the boxes the space flows from the center of the units to the glass louvered facade. The glass louvers combined with the different angles of the buildings' footprints create some reflections that resonate with the reflections of the water of the Yuyao river.
